EOS® IS

EOS®, the Entrepreneurial Operating System®, is a comprehensive business system, integrating a holistic business model with a complete set of simple business tools and a proven business process to align and synchronize all the pieces of your business to produce the results you want.

EOS® will help you do three things we call vision, traction and healthy:

Vision
first getting the leaders of your business 100% on the same page with the vision for your organization: who you are, what you do, where you are going and how you will get there.

Traction®
helping your leaders to become more disciplined and accountable, executing consistently to do things well and achieve every piece of your vision.

Healthy
helping your leaders to become a healthy, functional, cohesive leadership team, because leaders often don’t function well together as a team.

From there, as goes your leadership team so goes the rest of your organization. You get to the point where your entire organization is focused, engaged, sharing a common vision, disciplined, accountable, executing well and advancing as a healthy, functional, cohesive team.

EOS® is unique because it is easy to understand and use, holistically addressing all issues rather than applying spot-treatments to your business. It works in any entrepreneurial company and across all business models because the system is founded on time-tested methods and principles, not business management theories or “flavor of the month” fads.

EOS® is comprised of three elements; the EOS Model®, the EOS® Toolbox and the EOS Process®. The EOS Model® helps to simplify the way you see your business and sets the context for becoming a great company. The EOS® Toolbox contains a complete set of simple tools you can use to strengthen each component of your business. The EOS Model® provides a visual illustration of the Six Key Components™ of any business that must be strengthened to be a great business.

The EOS Process®

The EOS Process® provides a proven way to put all the pieces together, incorporating each of the EOS® Tools in the right order to best strengthen each key component of your business.Business owners, leaders and managers are often very busy and don’t see how they can add anything more to their plate – thus the feeling of being stuck and frustrated. This process (illustrated above) takes that into consideration, helping leaders and managers to implement the tools that will have the greatest impact first. Within a short period of time, everything starts to fall into place and you experience that wonderful feeling of freedom. The business is no longer controlling you, you are controlling the business – improving and making substantial progress every 90 days. We call that traction.

How the EOS Process® Works

To begin, someone will need to play the essential role of “EOS® Implementer” to guide a leadership team through the process. Contact Will Crist to discuss the EOS® implementation in your company.

Schedule your 90 Minute Meeting – introduces the leadership team of a company to EOS®, getting everyone on the same page so they can decide if they want to use the system and tools to strengthen their company.

The Focus Day™ – a day to give the leadership team tools to clarify who’s responsible for what, set priorities, improve communication, resolve issues and track critical numbers.

The leadership team then uses their new tools in their business for the next 30 days to experience real improvement.

Vision Building Day 1 – another day with the leadership team that starts by reviewing and sharpening the Focus Day™ tools. They then begin to use the V/TO™, Vision / Traction Organizer™, tool to clarify their vision, starting with who they are, why they exist, what they do and where they are going. They will also get a great tool for reviewing their people.

The team again uses their tools in their business for the next 30 days to experience more improvement. This is a spaced-learning approach which has proven to be most effective for quickly gaining proficiency with the tools.

Vision Building Day 2 – another day with the leadership team to master the Focus Day™ tools and continue using the V/TO™ tool to complete their vision, clarifying their Marketing Strategy, their 3-Year Picture™, 1-Year Plan and priorities for the next 90 days.

With the leaders now focused and all on the same page, they use the tools for the next 90 days to execute their plan. They will see more improvement.

Quarterly Sessions – a day with the leadership team every 90 days to evaluate their performance, refocus, set priorities for the next 90 days and resolve any issues that might impede their progress.

They experience measurable growth and improvement every 90 days – traction.

Annual Sessions – 2 days with the leadership team each year to work on team health and update their vision and plan for the next year and next quarter.

The result is a healthy, focused leadership team and organization that makes continual progress towards achieving everything in their vision.

EOS® Toolbox

Giving good advice can be helpful, but giving business leaders and managers simple and proven tools provides them with everything they need to build and run a great business.
